House Building

Specialist concrete designs have been developed specifically for the house builder, whether professional or DIY.

These cover:

  • Foundations
  • Internal floors
  • Driveways & paths

Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) has been developed to ease the previously labour intensive methods of placement. These products are specifically formulated to allow ease of placement and compaction.

Air entrained concrete should always be specified for driveways and paths, as the inclusion of specialist admixtures prevent cracking caused by the effects of the freeze/thaw cycle and the use of de-icing salts.

Coloured concrete and patterned imprinted concrete is also available should a specific design effect be required on driveways or paths.

Grasscrete can be specified for parking areas to offer stable ground conditions whilst maintaining a welcoming green landscape.
